Parking 15+ minutes in the Smokies? Get a parking tag - it's required
The basics:
You MUST print your parking tag - digital representations are not accepted and park staff will not print your tag for you.
Parking tag must include a license plate number matching the vehicle in which it is displayed.
Parking tag must be physically displayed in your vehicle, on the dashboard.
Parking tags are not replaceable, refundable, transferable, or upgradable.
Daily and weekly parking tags expire at 11:59pm ET on the date printed on the tag.
Parking tags are not required for motorists who pass through the area or who park for less than 15 minutes.
Parking tags are not location-specific. A parking tag is required to park in any parking spot anywhere within the boundaries of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Daily and weekly parking tags are available for purchase up to 1 month in advance of your visit.
Annual parking tags are available for purchase online through Smokies Life at smokiesinformation.org
Every dollar stays in the Smokies to support visitor services.

Parking tags are non-transferable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced
Parking tags may not be upgraded.
