Natural Arch Scenic Area provides Forest visitors with picnic facilities, amphitheater, playground, hiking trails, and scenic vistas of a large sandstone arch in the Cumberland Plateau region. Natural Arch Scenic Area is open year-round (weather dependent) offering multiple picnic sites with pedestal grills, tables, trash receptables, drinking fountains and vault toilets. Adjacent trails lead to panoramic cliffline views.
The day pass is only good for the day purchased and permits the use of parking, playground, toilets, picnic sites, and trails. The amphitheater and picnic shelter are also available on a first come first serve basis if they are not being held for a rental.
All visitors are required to display a printed copy of their Day Use pass, with QR code visible, on the dashboard of their vehicle for the duration of their stay.
If purchasing onsite, please have the Recreation.gov app downloaded prior to arrival. Once purchased please write down confirmation number on the envelope provided and post it on the vehicle dashboard.
This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed. This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.
America the Beautiful Passes: Senior, Access, Military, Gold Star, Veteran, and Golden Age Senior/Access area accepted at this site. These passes cover fees for the passholder and up to three adults per vehicle.
Passes are non-transferable between operators, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
Cell phone connectivity on the forest may be limited, plan ahead.
