Aransas National Wildlife Refuge Pass

Aransas National Wildlife Refuge

National wildlife refuges offer us all a chance to unplug from the stresses of daily life and reconnect with our natural surroundings.  Aransas National Wildlife Refuge is a bit "off the beaten path," but it's well worth the visit!

The refuge is a breeding ground for migratory birds and other wildlife and provides protection for endangered species. The mild winters, bay waters and abundant food supply attract more than 400 species of birds to Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, including the whooping crane, one of North America's rarest birds.

Visitors enjoy opportunities for hunting, fishing, wildlife observation and photography, an auto tour loop and several kid-friendly trails.

This pass is only valid for entrance fees at Aransas National Wildlife Refuge.

All refuge visitors are required to pay an entrance fee with the following exceptions: Entrance fees are waived for visitors 17 years and under; or if the visitor is in possession of an Aransas annual pass, current and signed Federal Duck Stamp, 'Every Kid in a Park' 4th Grade Annual Pass, or American the Beautiful Interagency Pass. Please be prepared to show a hard copy or digital pass on your mobile device.
