Jurassic National Monument is a great spot to learn and bring kids for a quick trip out to see an active dinosaur bone dig site with the highest concentration of Jurassic Era fossils in the world.
The day pass is only good for the day purchased and for the number of people in the group that are paid for.
Day passes can be purchased on site or via the rec.gov app using Scan & Pay instructions. You will need to download the free Recreation.gov mobile app while still having cell phone service or wifi as some remote areas have limited or no cellphone service. If purchasing onsite, please have the Recreation.gov app downloaded prior to arrival. Once purchased please show and confirm with park ranger at the front desk.
Passes are non-transferrable between operators, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
America the Beautiful Passes are accepted at this site. These passes cover fee for the passholder and up to three other adults. Children 15 years old and younger are free.
Plan on bringing your own water as it most likely will be hot and dry at the monument.
