Located on Rend Lake, Turnip Patch Boat Ramp provides convenient access to the water for boating, fishing, and paddling. Launch your watercraft easily and safely using the boat ramp. An Activity Scan & Pay QR code is available at the boat ramp for convenient payment.
Activity Scan & Pay passes are valid for one vehicle with a boat trailer per day. No cash is needed; credit cards are accepted through the Recreation.gov mobile app.
Download the free Recreation.gov mobile app, create an account, and scan the QR code posted at the boat ramp to purchase your Activity Pass. Because some areas may have limited cellular service, visitors are encouraged to download and sign into the app before arriving.
This location is available first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors must be physically present at the boat ramp to purchase an Activity Pass. Once on-site, follow the posted instructions and scan the QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app.
Activity Scan and Pay Passes are for Boat Ramp Day Use only.
If you have a USACE Day Use Annual Pass or any of the America the Beautiful Passes, you just need to display these passes appropriately for boat ramp use authorization.
This is a day use facility. Camping is prohibited at this location.
