Paradise Point Recreation Area is located below Sardis Dam on the east side of the Lower Lake. Amenities include a beach, comfort stations, 2 group picnic shelter, single cover picnic sites, individual picnic sites, playground, and basketball court. This area is popular among visitors who enjoy swimming, picnicing, and playing basketball. Also popular area for gatherings. This area offers a view of the lower lake. This area is open from April 1- Sept 30.

Daily and Annual Day Use Passes are available for purchase and provide the purchaser boat ramp and swimming area access. Day Use passes are valid for one day and Annual Day Use Passes are valid for one year.

Visitors MUST redeem the receipt of an online Annual Pass for the permanent plastic hang tag to be used in a private vehicle within 14 days after the purchase date. Please visit the Sardis Lake Field Office or talk to a park ranger during your visit for details.

Day Use Pass is valid for one (non-commerical) vehicle on date of purchase.

Passes are non-transferable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and void if altered or reproduced.

If you purchase your Day Use Pass on-site, no printed copy will be available. Instead, your license plate number and the pass stored on your device will be used to confirm compliance. If you purchase a pass in advance, a printed copy of the pass is recommended for your vehicle dashboard.

Annual Day Use Passes are valid for all day use facilities at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operated parks for one year after purchase date.

The purchase of this pass does not gurantee parking space.

Lake Levels may vary based on season and rainfall. Purchaser is responsible for ensuring ramp is launchable prior to purchase. If ramp is not launchable, purchaser may use facilities in other areas at Sardis Lake but no refunds will be given.

Beginning August 11, 2024, Sardis will begin drawing down water in the Lower Lake to perform maintenance on the outlet channel. During this time swimming areas will be closed and boating traffic on the Lower Lake will be limited to fishing only.
