Overview

The Crescent Lake Yurts are located within Crescent Lake Campground on the northwestern shore of Crescent Lake at the eastern base of the Cascade mountain range.

Facilities

The Crescent Lake Yurts feature three individual yurt sites located within the Crescent Lake Campground. Furnished yurts include one bunkbed with one double and one single mattress, one double futon, table and chairs and a wood stove. Each yurt site also features a fire ring and picnic table.

During summer months, visitors have access to drinking water within the Crescent Lake Campground. Yurts do not have electricity. Visitors should be prepared to bring their own linens, cooking utensils and lighting source.

Natural Features

Crescent Lake sits within a glaciated basin behind a moraine dam east of the Cascade mountain range in northern Klamath County. From within the Crescent Lake basin, visitors will catch views of Diamond Peak and the unique Cowhorn Mountain. Crescent Lake is a popular recreation destination with brilliant blue-green water and sandy beaches. 

The Crescent Lake Yurts are situated within a predominately ponderosa pine stand on the western edge of the Crescent Lake Campground. 

Recreation

The Crescent Lake area offers a wide-variety of recreation opportunities. The Crescent Lake Day Use Area provides boat launch access to the lake. Crescent Lake is a popular destination for boating, swimming, fishing and paddling.

Fawn Lake Trailhead departs from the Crescent Lake Campground and Day Use Area providing hiking access into the Diamond Peak Wilderness.

    • Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and the check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
    • Each yurt site is intended for no more than 6 people
    • Electricity inside the yurt is limited to 15 amps
    • Water may be available at campground faucets
    • The yurts are non-smoking facilities
    • Pets are allowed outside only
    • No RV or tent camping allowed
    • Visitors should be prepared to bring their own linens, cooking utensils and lighting source
    • Please pack out all food and garbage
    • Firewood may be available for purchase at Crescent Lake Campground host site
    • Return key to lock box upon check-out

    • Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. <p><strong>From Crescent</strong>, travel 12.2 miles west on County Road 61, turn right on Highway 58 and travel 3.5 miles north, then turn left onto Forest Road 60 and travel southwest for 2.6 miles; turnoff for Crescent Lake Campground & yurts will be located on left-hand side </p> <p><strong>From Oakridge</strong>, travel 34 miles east on Highway 58, then turn right onto Forest Road 60 and travel southwest for 2.6 miles; turnoff for Crescent Lake Campground & yurts will be located on left-hand side</p>

Cancellation Policy

<p>A customer who cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival will pay a $10.00 service fee AND forfeit the first night's use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Cancellations for a one-night reservation will forfeit the entire amount paid and will not be subject to an additional service fee.</p> <p><strong>Changes or Cancellations within the Cut-off Window:</strong> Once a reservation date has begun, customers cannot change a reservation using the online system or through the Call Center.</p>
