Sardis Lake stretches over 98,000 acres of land and water through Panola, Lafayette and Marshall counties in beautiful Northwest Mississippi. The Outlet Channel/Riverview area offers beautiful views of the 400-acre "Lower Lake" below Sardis Dam. The area is great for picnicking and offers some of the best bank fishing at Sardis Lake.
There is one group picnic shelter in the area. The group shelter is reservable. Outlet Channel/Riverview also has over 30 individual picnic sites and a small basketball court. The area is also adjacent to a swim beach.
Amplified Music and Bouncy Houses are not permitted without prior approval from Sardis Lake Field Office
Beginning August 11, 2024, Sardis will begin drawing down water in the Lower Lake to perform maintenance on the outlet channel. During this time swimming areas will be closed and boating traffic on the Lower Lake will be limited to fishing only. Outlet Channel/Riverview is located on the shore of the "Lower Lake" at Sardis. The Lower Lake is a 400 acre lake on the downstream side of Sardis Dam.
Aside from offering some of the best bank fishing at Sardis Lake the area also has a group picnic shelter and individual picnic sites.

From Interstate 55 at Batesville, MS the area is approximately 8 miles east on MS Hwy 35 / 315. Pavilion will be on your left closest to outlet channel. From Interstate 55 at Sardis , you can drive approximately 8 miles east on Hwy. 315 to reach the area.
