Overview

This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature.

If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service.

Facilities

Twin Peaks is a first-come, first-served campground with 35 sites. It's located west of Twin Lakes Reservoir in a shaded Aspen and Lodgepole Pine forest above the whitewater of Lake Creek. It sits at 9,600 feet with spectacular views of the Sawatch Range.

Important Notices

  • Water is currently unavailable at this campground. Please bring water for your camp, including enough water to completely drown your fire, leaving it cold to the touch, if you are having a campfire. Also, RV dump stations at both Printer Boy & White Star Campgrounds will remain closed this season.

  • Overnight camping fee which includes two vehicles. A third vehicle is an additional $11.00 per night.

     RVs and ATV/boat trailers count as one vehicle.

  • Maxium of eight people per site

    Maximum three tents per site or one RV and two tents

    Dogs, including service dogs, must be leashed at all times

    No discharge of firearms or fireworks

    Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground

  • Check in: 2 pm - Check out: 12 pm (noon)

    Quiet hours: 10 pm to 6 am

  • Firewood is available for sale at the camp host site for $10.00/bundle.
