Overview

Holy Ground Battlefield Park is a beautiful day-use park located in Lowndes County, Alabama. The group shelters are available to be rented with a per day fee. Come and enjoy all that Holy Ground has to offer. From bank fishing or hiking, to swimming and picnicing at the beach area, this park has a little something for the whole family to enjoy. Restrooms and shower house on site.  

Important Notices

• Shelter reservations must be made in advance  

  Park opens at 7 am and closes at 7 pm

  Park opens April 1st and closes September 2nd

  NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED IN PARK

  Clean area before leaving

  No amplified audio devices

  Park in designated areas only

  Activities above and beyond a routine picnic will require a special events permit
