Overview

Tullahasse Loop is located upstream of Chouteau Lock and Dam 17 on the McClellan-Kerr Navigation System approximately 9 miles Southwest of Wagoner, OK. Visitors can enjoy camping, picnicking, fishing, boating, kayaking or simply enjoying the scenic beauty the area has to offer.

Facilities

This year-around campground offers 15 primitive campsites, perfect for those who enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Amenities are available thorughout the year and include a vault toilet, access to potable water, playground, boat ramp and courtesy dock. 

Natural Features

Tullahasse Loop is located off the main river channel on an oxbow and provides excellent access to the backwaters for fishermen, boaters, and kayaks. The campground is surrounded by mixed hardwood forest and the majority of the campsites are shaded.  

Recreation

The Chouteau Lock and Dam 17 project was primarily constructed for the improvement of the Arkansas River and its tributaries for commercial barge traffic; however, it also offers recreation and resource opportunities.    

Nearby Attractions

Located just south of the city of Wagoner and North of the city of Muskogee, Afton Landing is within driving distance to several local dining and shopping facilities. It is also within a 10-minute drive to Fort Gibson Lake and several other campgrounds and state parks.

Important Notices

• • All campsites are reservation only.

  • No unlicensed off-road vehicles or golf carts allowed in the park.

  • Day Use hours are from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. 

  • Check-out is at 3:00 PM and Check-in is at 5:00 PM

  • There is no dump station in the park but campers are allowed to dump at Afton Landing Campground located 6 miles W. of Wagoner off Hwy 51.

Cancellation Policy

<p>Cancellations made 48 hrs or more prior to the start of the reservation will incur the cancellation fee of $10.</p> <p>Cancellations made 24 hrs prior to the start of the reservation will incur a late cancellation fee ($10 + first nights camping fee)</p>
