This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature.
If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service.
Located on Taneum Creek, this campground offers 15 campsites. The campground accesses North Fork Taneum Trail # 1377 and has a beginners motorcycle loop trail that originates in the campground.
Extra Vehicle fee of $10.00/day charged for 3rd vehicle.
<p>Take I-90 Exit 93 Elk Heights/Taneum Creek. Go north about 1/4 mile to Thorp Prairie Road. Turn right and go about 3.5 miles to East Taneum Rd. Turn right and cross over I-90 to West Taneum Road/Forest Service Road 33. Turn right travel 8.5 miles for 8.5 miles. Campground is on the left. </p>
