Overview

Fourteen primitive and separately numbered campsites dispersed along a 5-mile section of the lower Cranberry River. Toilets closed as of November 30.

Campsites are number 6-19 along the Cranberry River between Big Rock Campground and Cranberry Campground on Forest Road 76. Double sites available at sites 7 and 12.

Facilities

Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. Vault toilets are spaced along the river corridor.

Important Notices

  • Be Bear Aware; keep all food out of site in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from area after eating

  • No RV hookups are available

  • Limit 2 vehicles per campsite

  • Don't move firewood: To limit the spread of invasive tree-killing pests, firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Some states have quarantines and may confiscate your firewood. <p>From Richwood travel one mile east on State Route 39/55, then 6 1/2 miles north on Forest Road 76. Campsites are numbered 6-19 and dispersed along Forest Road 76.</p>
