Collins is a quiet campground located along the shore of the Duckabush River. Several of the campsites are near the river. There are 16 campsites, 10 that will accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 21 feet in length. Six of the campsites are tent sites with spurs for parking.
This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature.
If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service.
There are 16 campsites, 10 that will accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 21 feet in length. Six of the campsites are tent sites with spurs for parking. Tables, fire rings, and vault toilets are available within the camp- ground. Potable water is provided east of the campground 1.5 miles, from a hand pump well at the trailhead near Interrorem Cabin. Please pack out your garbage and leave a clean campsite.
The campground sits along the shore of the Duckabush River.
Hiking, fishing, hunting, waterfall viewing and river walks are possible in the area. The Duckabush trailhead is located one mile west of Collins Campground.
Murhut Falls Trail #828 is 1.3 miles up # 2530 road. Interrorem Historic Cabin, Ranger Hole Trailhead (a trail to a popular fishing area), and Interrorem Interpretive Nature Trail are located 1.5 miles east of the campground.
WARNING: River contains swift water, rapids, and waterfalls. River is not floatable. Use extreme caution in or near the water.

Travel US Highway 101 to the Duckabush Recreation Area, approximately 15 miles south of Quilcene. Turn west onto F.S. Road #2510 (Duckabush River Road) and drive 6 miles to the entrance of Collins Campground, which is located on the left side of the road.
