Overview
At 9200 ft, this picnic pavilion located within the Capilla Peak Campground, is a great place to gather and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains and Wilderness.
Natural Features
Great views of the Manzano Mountain Wilderness and Wilderness access. Note that this location is at high elevation, and very exposed. Inclement weather is common at high elevation, come prepared.
Important Notices
There is no potable water at this site.
Be courteous when parking and do not block access to campsites in the area or the toilet facilities.
The road to this site is not suitable for all vehicles. High clearance is recommended.
