Part of Wallowa Whitman National Forest
Lake Fork Campground is situated along North Pine Creek and the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway. The site is popular in the late spring through fall camping seasons for recreationists who enjoy relaxing, day hiking and exploring along the Scenic Byway and throughout the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area.
Primary use season is June - October
Quiet hours are 10pm to 6am
Lake Fork CG has 10 sites each with picnic tables, fire rings and parking spots
With the continued hot temps and low Relative Humidity’s predicted in the weather on top of all the continued large fires going in the region, the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest will move to an IFPL 4 on Saturday morning the 8th of August at 0001.
With tinder dry forest fuels and high daytime temperatures, conditions are prime for potential human-caused forest fires. We ask that you be extremely careful when out on the forest.
