Part of Wallowa Whitman National Forest
Fish Lake Campground is located adjacent to the picturesque Fish Lake in the Wallowa Mountains. As a high elevation campground, visitors enjoy fishing, boating, and hiking at the nearby wilderness and non-wilderness trailheads.
Six of the 21 tent/trailers sites have been constructed to accommodate persons with disabilities, and 6 sites on the upper loop are available for RV's longer than 20 feet.
Primary Use Season is June to September
Quiet hours are 10pm to 6 am.
Considerations: Mosquitos! Dropping water levels in late summer!
Fish Lake Campground has 21 tent/trailer sites, each with a picnic table, fire ring and parking area.
<p>From Baker City, travel north on Interstate 84 for about 1.5 miles to the exit for Highway 86 to Hells Canyon, Richland and Halfway; Travel east on Highway 86 for about 40 miles to Richland; before going into Richland, continue straight off Highway 86 onto the New Bridge Road; Follow the New Bridge Road for about 2.5 miles towards New Bridge; Continue past New Bridge and the road becomes the Eagle Creek Road and Forest Road 7735. Continue north on Forest road 7735 for about 7.75miles; Entrance to the campground is on left side. </p><p>The road is mostly single-lane gravel.</p>
