Part of Wallowa Whitman National Forest
Situated along Highway 26 which is part of the Journey Through Time Scenic Byway, Oregon Campground offers 8 campsites for both tents and small trailers.
Popular activities include camping, picnicking, exploring along the byway and OHV riding at the adjacent Oregon OHV Trailhead of the Blue Mountain OHV Trail System.
Primary use season is May -October.
Quiet hours are from 10pm - 6am.
Oregon Campground has 8 sites, each with a picnic table, fire ring and parking area.
With the continued hot temps and low Relative Humidity’s predicted in the weather on top of all the continued large fires going in the region, the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest will move to an IFPL 4 on Saturday morning the 8th of August at 0001.
With tinder dry forest fuels and high daytime temperatures, conditions are prime for potential human-caused forest fires. We ask that you be extremely careful when out on the forest.
