Boating and water sports top the list of recreational actives at the lake, and several boat ramps are provided for campers. Fishing is also a popular pastime, with large mouth bass, small mouth bass, spotted pass, black and white crappie, channel and flathead catfish and various species of sunfish available in abundance. The lake has a WMA where hunting is allowed. Except for developed recreation areas and lands in the vicinity of the dam. De Queen Lake has one designated hiking/biking trail, the trail is a little over 3 miles inside Pine Ridge Park. The trail was built to IMBA standards.

This Area has the possiblity of flooding throughout the year. You may want to check lake levels before traveling.
Please Wear a life jacket when participating in water recreation activities.
Bring extra water hose and electric cords for longer distances from campsites.

Stay on designated roads and trails, and follow local guidelines for firewood. CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water. From DeQueen, AR, take Highway 71 north for 3 miles. Turn west onto DeQueen Lake Road and continue for 5.3 miles, following signs into the campground.
