Cedar Breaks National Monument

The Point Supreme Campground in Cedar Breaks National Monument offers a camping experience at 10,000 feet in elevation. Available approximately from mid-June to late-September. Visitors can enjoy a variety of hiking trails, ranger programs and breathtaking scenery.

Restrooms with flush toilets are available. Showers with warm water are accessed using a code (ask campground host for code). Firewood is available onsite by donation. Two of our camping spots are wheelchair accessible. Three of the parks four hiking trails are within walking distance.

Need to Know

RESERVATION CANCELLATION, UPDATES & NO-SHOW's: Volunteer campground hosts and park staff do not have the capacity to update or refund campground reservations. It is the responsibility of the customer to update or cancel their reservation through their recreation.gov account or by calling the Toll-free Reservation Hotline # (877) 444-6777. Cancellation and service fees will apply. No-Shows: Customers that do not arrive by 11 AM the day after their scheduled arrival date will not have their campsite or reservation held beyond that time. This is due to high demand for a limited number of campsites.
Each campsite is limited to two camping structures. Any mix is allowed for example campers may have a RV and pop-up, tent and pop-up, two tents, a sleeping trailer and a tent, or similar combination. Check with the camphost for details.
Be prepared for cooler temperatures and unpredictable weather; summertime highs average between 60 - 70°F, nighttime lows often dip to 30 - 40°F.
High altitudes may cause shortness of breath and tiredness - slow down, rest often and drink plenty of water.
Quiet hours are between 8PM and 8AM. Excessive noise (anything above 60 dicibles) is prohibited at all times.
Pets must be leashed and attended; they are not permitted on unpaved-trails or in park buildings. Service animals are welcome.
The thinner atmosphere provides less protection from dangerous UV rays; wear a hat and use sunscreen.
Campsites are on either side of a very narrow loop road. Campers will be required to have all equipment wihtin their site and not in the roadway.
Hunting is prohibited inside the park.
Do not feed wildlife, violators may be fined.
Campground opening and closing dates may be slightly earlier or later and are subject to favorable weather.
Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site.
Thunderstorms frequently develop in the afternoons; be aware of the risks of lightning and avoid exposed trails and overlooks until the storms pass.
Do not pick flowers or plants. All animals, rocks and plants are protected by federal law and must be left undisturbed.

Natural Features

Cedar Breaks National Monument offers a spectacular view of deserts, forests, meadows and rocky spires. Come stand above 10,000 feet on while looking into a desert amphitheater filled with incredible, multi-colored hoodoos.

Changes & Cancellations

A $10.00 service fee will apply if you change your reservation.
Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance of arrival date incur a $10 cancellation fee.
Within 48 hours of arrival, a $10 cancellation fee and the first night's fee are charged.
Campsites reserved online cannot be switched for drop-in or other vacant sites after arrival.
