Clear Creek Campground is nestled in the forests surrounding Sardis Lake. It is conveniently located within 15 minutes of Oxford, MS. Clear Creek campground offers close access to mountain biking, boating, and picnicking at Sardis Lake.
Clear Creek Campground offers 19 open sites with electric and water hookups. Flush toilets, showers and drinking water are provided.
Much of Clear Creek campground is closed but it does have 19 sites available for reservation. All open sites are located in the back section of the campground. As you enter the campground road you'll follow the road passing several closed campsites until you reach the Site 20 on your left and Site 62 on your right. Those sites begin the open section of the campground.
Campers and/or their camping units will be limited to a stay of no more than 14 days in any 30-day period at a single USACE Vicksburg District campground. At the end of their 14-day stay, campers and camping unit must leave the campground but will be allowed to relocate to a different USACE campground at the same lake.
Sardis Lake covers over 98,000 acres in the rolling hills of northwest Mississippi. The man-made lake sits on the Tallahatchie River at an approximate elevation of 400 feet. The campground is forested with bottomland hardwoods.
The John W. Kyle State Park, across the lake from Clear Creek, offers a swimming pool, golf course and recreation hall. Just east of Sardis Lake is Holly Springs National Forest, where wildlife viewing is a popular activity.
Sardis Lake offers an array of recreational activities, including fishing, boating, water skiing and swimming. A scenic trail near the campground offers great hiking and biking opportunities.
