Hawthorn Bluff day use locations and facilities, including picnic sites, group shelters, swim beaches, volleyball courts, and parking lots are designated as alcohol-free areas. The consumption of alcoholic beverages in these locations is prohibited.
No person shall bring or allow dogs, cats, or other pets into developed recreation areas or adjacent waters unless penned, caged, on a leash under 6ft in lenth or otherwise physically restrained.
Wild or exotic pets and animals,or any animals displaying vicioius or aggressive behavior,or otherwise posing a threat to public safety, or deemed a public nuisance are prohibited from project lands and waters unless authorized by the Distrcit Commander.
A camping unit at one or more campsites at any one lake for a period longer than 14 days durring any 30-consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
American the Beautiful/Golden Age/Golden Access passes are limited to one campsite per pass. Pass holder must be present or discounnt may be terminated.

From Tulsa, Oklahoma, take U.S. Highway 169 north for 27 miles to Highway 88. The campground is 2 miles east of the town of Oologah on Highway 88.
