Located close to Lake Tahoe, Truckee, and Reno, Martis has a beautiful, peaceful campground off the beaten path. Martis Creek area features hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, and catch and release trout fishing.

Camping reservations for 2021 are cancelled at all U.S Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, campgrounds. Reservation holders will receive a full refund through recreation.gov. The dates for any future campground reopenings are not known at this time and are dependent on health and safety conditions. All campground updates will be posted on https://www.spk.usace.army.mil/locations/Sacramento-District-Parks/. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding during these uncertain times.

The speed limit in the campground is 10 MPH. One way counterclockwise.
Check out time is 12:00 Noon. Check In time is 2:00 P.M.
Maximum of eight people per campsite including children.
Two vehicles maximum per site. (One RV and one other vehicle).
Pets must be on a six foot or shorter leash at all times.
Site boundaries are indicated by the pea gravel. Campers must camp within the boundaries of their site.

From State Highway 267, turn onto Martis Dam Road. Continue on Martis Dam Road for approximately 1.2 miles. Tur miles. Turn right a 0.2 miles to the campground entrance. You have now arrived at the entrance to Alpine Meadows Campground.
