Ten Mile is small campground, a quick 48 mile drive from Boise, Idaho, along State Highway 21.
The campground is the one of three campgrounds (Bad Bear and Hayfork), a few miles past the Historic Idaho City.
This area is known for its beautiful old forest of ponderosa pine. Wildflowers abound in the summer months.
Fishing opportunities in Mores Creek and some campsites are very near the creek.
This is a fee campground. Fee envelopes and a collection box are provided near the entrance. Please bring cash or check. 16 sites / $15.00 per site overnight fee. Extra vehicle fees may apply.
The Idaho Transportation Department is making improvements to 12 miles of SH 21, between Mores Creek Summit (MP 52) to Beaver Creek Summit (MP 64). Work is planned for July 2023 (after 4th of July holiday) and will extend through August 2023. The road will be fully closed Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Access to recreation sites within the work zone will be restricted during work hours, plan accordingly. Visit https://itdprojects.org/ for project updates.
The campground sites have campfire rings, grills, picnic tables and a vault toilet. There are numerous opportunities to go hiking, biking, horseback rising and ride off-road vehicled in the area. In the winter the area is a playgound for winter sports including cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.

From Idaho City travel State Highway 21 north for about 10 miles to the campground. There are signed entrances on the left and right sides of the road, as this campground is divided on either side of the highway.
