In 2020, shelters have a limit of 25 people due to COVID-19 to comply with social distancing regulations.
Reservations entitle your group to the exclusive use of the shelter, with its picnic tables, fireplace, and adjacent charcoal grills. All other facilities are open to public use, including the ball field, swimming area, horseshoe pits, dressing rooms, and vault toilets.
Note that quiet hours are between 10:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m.; loud noise such as music and generators is prohibited during quiet hours.
Decorative metallic shavings/shapes/confetti is prohibited within the park. These are extremely difficult to remove from surfaces.
Water balloons are prohibited within the park; they pose a safety risk to wildlife.
Campsites are not included with your shelter reservation and must be reserved separately.
Recreation equipment is not furnished and there is no electricity available at this site.
Shelter reservation holders (and their guests) are responsible for removing all personal belongings from the shelter and existing premises no later than the applicable closing time.
Responsible alcohol use is permitted. Law enforcement will be called if warranted.
Do not remove picnic tables from the shelter.
