Need to Know

• HIke or bike approximately 2.2 miles from the Wassataquoik Gate to the Esker campsite, located on the bank of Wassataquoik Stream. This campsite cannot be accessed directly by road. Access to the Wassataquoik Gate is via the south entrance on Swift Brook Road.

• Pets must be on a leash of six feet or less at all times.

• No cell phone service.

• No potable water (bring a water filter).

• No trash service. Practice Leave No Trace principles and carry out everything you carry in, including all trash and food.

• Obtain firewood locally within 10 miles of your campsite.
