OVERVIEW: The Group Camp area includes 8 designated campsites (Sites #60–67 in Meadow Campground- see map in photos), a large group picnic shelter, and a field located behind the campsites. Each site features a gravel pad, picnic table, and 20/30-amp electric hookups. The shelter includes picnic tables, a pedestal grill, lighting, electrical outlets, and a stone fireplace.
Reservation of Group Camp includes exclusive access to the shelter, which is not available to other park visitors
CAMPING UNITS & OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS: A STRICT MINIMUM of 8 camping units (combination of tents and/or wheeled unit, such as trailer, RV, fifth-wheel, pop-up, van, etc) must be occupied each night throughout the entire reservation period. Groups failing to meet this minimum on any night may be charged the standard rate for a non-waterfront, electric site in Seven Points. Repeated violations may impact future eligibility for group camp reservations. Group Camp can accommodate a MAXIMUM of 30 total camping units, with no more than 16 wheeled units.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Primary group camp occupant must fill out group camp roster prior to check-in at the Entrance Station (6256 Seven Points Rd. Hesston, PA 16647) beginning at 5 PM on day of arrival. Early check-ins may be permitted at staff's discretion subject to site availability. Check-out is by 4:00 PM on your scheduled departure date.
VEHICLES: All vehicles in Group Camp must display a green camper pass, available at check-in. Vistors vehicles must stop at the Seven Points Entrance Station to obtain a red visitor pass, valid until 10 PM on the day of issue. Vehicle passes must be clearly visible at all times. The primary group camp occupant is responsible for vehicle management and pass distribution.
A maximum of 30 vehicles are permitted inside group camp at one time. Overflow parking is available at Mushroom, Allegheny, or Twin Hollows lots. No parking on grass or roadways. Boat trailers and wheeled camping units may be parked on the grass next to campsites.
CAMPING DISCOUNTS: America the Beautiful (ATB) passes do not apply to Group Camp reservations.
Organized youth groups (e.g., Scouts, youth teams, church groups) may qualify for a discounted nightly rate at staff discretion. Full payment is required upfront upon reservation; Refunds for eligible discounts must be formally requested at check-in. Proof of youth group status may be required.
PRIMARY OCCUPANT RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary occupant must be at least 18 years old and present valid ID at check-in. Primary occupant is responsible for the conduct of all group campers. Refunds may be requested for any unused nights if departing before 4 PM. Early departures must be reported to the Entrance Station so the site may be reopened for reservations. Group campsites and the shelter must be kept clean throughout your stay and fully cleaned before departure.
QUIET HOURS: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Excessive noise that disturbs others is prohibited at all times.
BOAT MOORING: Group camp is not located near the lakeshore. Free overnight boat mooring passes are available to Seven Points campers at the Entrance Station- Be cautious of unauthorized individuals attempting to sell passes. Valid mooring areas include the shoreline near Twin Hollows and the bay north of Seven Points Launch. Passes must be displayed so that they are clearly visible from the shoreline.
WATER FILL-UP & WASTE DISPOSAL: Water tanks may be filled at the Seven Points dump station or by using portable containers from spigots near the Group Camp entrance. Hoses may not be attached to water spigots in camping areas. Do not wash dishes, pets or other items at the water fountains, hydrants, or restroom showers/sinks. All liquid waste, including grey water, must be disposed of at the dump station. Outdoor shower tents used for showering are prohibited.
PET POLICY: Pets are permitted in group camp under the following conditions:
-Pet must be kept on a leash (six feet or less), caged, or physically restrained at all times. Campers with aggressive pets may be asked to vacate campsite.
-Pets are not permitted in public buildings or restrooms.
-Unattended pets and excessive barking are prohibited.
FIREWORKS: Fireworks, firearms and other projectile firing devices are prohibited in all campgrounds.
