MAXIMUM of 30 units can be accommodated in the area with a maximum of 16 wheeled units (trailer, RV, fifth-wheel, pop-up, van, etc.) permitted.
All vehicles MUST be parked on the parking pads provided, but wheeled camping units may be parked on the grass..
Quiet hours are 10 PM - 6 AM. Please be courteous of other visitors in the campground, as sound travels freely at night and large gatherings of persons may disturb others.
It is the responsibility of the group campers, and specifically the reservation holder, to ensure the camp and shelter area is kept clean throughout your stay and is cleaned prior to departure.
America the Beautiful Discount Passes CANNOT be used for Group Camp reservations.
SUMMARY: The Group Camp area consists of 8 campsites, numbered 60-67 in Meadow Campground, a large group picnic shelter and an adjacent field located behind those 8 campsites. Each campsite has a gravel pad and 20, 30 and 50 amp electric hookups for up to 16 wheeled units. The shelter is equipped with picnic tables, pedestal grill, lights, electrical outlets, and a stone fireplace. Reservation and use of the shelter is included in the Group Camp reservation. The shelter is available to Group Camp campers only and is not available for use or reservation by other park visitors.
All vehicles remaining in the camping area overnight must have a green camper pass (these may be acquired at one time when the roster is turned in or before that time on an individual basis). All vehicles visiting the campground must acquire a red visitor pass from the Entrance Station before entering the campground. Visitor passes are valid until 10 p.m. on the day of issue. ALL vehicles must be parked in designated parking spaces.
The group camp may not be available for check in until 5:00 p.m. on the arrival date. Check out time is 4:00 p.m. on the scheduled departure date.
Group camp is not located near the lakeshore. Free overnight mooring passes for boats are available at the Entrance Station. Approved mooring areas are found in the area north of the Seven Points Boat Launch or the Twin Hollows area.
Hoses MAY NOT be attached to water spigots in group camping area. Water tanks may only be filled at the dump station or from the water spigot using portable jugs. Do not wash dishes, pets, bikes or other items at the water fountains, hydrants, or restroom showers/sinks.
