This is a high-elevation facility; please use caution when traveling from lower elevations.
This region has frequent thunderstorms from mid-June through mid-September, please be prepared and know the weather before you recreate. Lightning storms that usually build up in the early afternoon pose a significant risk during the rainy season. Stay away from high ridges or peaks if storms are approaching.
Wildlife in the area may include mule deer, elk, pronghorn, bear, mountain lion, turkey, javelina, bobcats, king snakes, and tassel-eared squirrels
The maximum stay limit is 14 days within 30 consecutive days in Prescott National Forest including stays at dispersed sites.
Pets are allowed but must be on a 6-foot leash or in a cage and never left unattended.
Quiet Hours are between 10 pm and 6 am.
OHV/ATV use is prohibited in the campground.
Fireworks (including sparklers) are prohibited at all times on National Forest Lands.
