The Coldfoot Cabin is located approximately 250 miles north of Fairbanks. Services are extremely limited along the drive. Be prepared for extreme winter conditions along a remote stretch of road with significant industrial trucking traffic. You are encouraged to bring winter survival gear, a satellite communication device, food and water. Verify you have a spare tire for your vehicle and the means to change it. A CB radio is also very helpful to communicate with other vehicles.
