Need to Know

• East Shore is smaller tent only, dry, no hook ups, campground situated next to Loon Lake, .5 miles from Loon Lake Recreation, BLM, DOI. Subject to Federal, State, and local rules and regulations.

• East Shore Campground is not a designated, or hosted campground, Campfires are not permitted. During the 2026 fire season (effective June 1, 2026), open flame burning is prohibited including campfires, debris burning, and incinerator use, except in designated, hosted, and managed campgrounds. Fire Season Restrictions

  • No burning allowed, during fire season.

  • District can shut down all burning at any time, even outside fire season.

  • Violations can result in a Notice of Violation, forced fire suppression, and possible liability for suppression costs.
