• Wood and charcoal fires are permitted at Floyds Island. Please refer to the refuge map for additional information and Know Before You Go tips. Keep trails and platforms free of litter; you must pack out ALL garbage generated from your trip. 

  
  Permit holders take full responsibility of knowing the distance between overnight stops.

• This island is located on the Green Trail. If you are camping on Floyds Island as a through trip, you must portage across the island. The portage is approximately 1/4 mile.
