Small boats and kayaks can land at the sandspit. There are kayak corals available. The sandspit trail (1.5 miles) provides access from the dock.
1.5 miles southeast from the dock, in a grove of trees at the base of the bluff on the backside of the sandspit at the southern tip of the island.
