This is not a suitable site for boaters due to the rocky/cobble beach. Kayakers may be able to carefully land. Backpackers must hike the 6.3 miles from Presque Isle. This hiking trail is unmaintained, and route finding may be difficult.
On the north side of the island, 6.3 miles from the Presque Isle Ranger Station.
