Need to Know

There is no water/sewer at this cabin, vault toilet only. OHV's must meet Montana State standards for legal operation on open public roads. Travel is restricted to existing roads only. Black Bears frequent the area, store your food, beverages, coolers, and garbage inside the cabin. Please "Pack it in. Pack it out." including garbage while you are staying at Diamond Butte. Reservation can only be made three days in advance with a four night maximum stay limit. Clean the cabin when you leave. Rental fee is $25 per night. Call Ashland Ranger District within seven days of your reservation to get the lookout combination. Ashland Ranger District 406-784-2344 Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
