Need to Know

• The Caretakers Cabin is within sight of the Hillside Cabin and adjoins the maintenance garage for the three cabin complex. Forest Service personnel may access the maintenance garage during your stay. This spacious 1,700 square foot two-story structure sits next to the Upper Grouse horse corrals and has a back porch view and access to pastureland. The grill on the porch is a great option for BBQs (bring your own charcoal brickets) and the kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots & pans, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator and stove. The building has electricity, hot/cold water, and a washer & dryer. The cabin has one full bathroom downstairs next to bedroom with queen bed. An upstairs loft has four twin beds. The living room sofa also folds out for sleeping. The woodstove in the living room area is not presently functional and the cabin is not ADA compliant.
