Goose Creek Wild and Scenic River

Bureau of Land Management, Utah.

With its source originating high in the sandstone cliffs of Zion National Park, Goose Creek meanders thru spectacular slot canyons, across a small section of BLM , the Goose Creek Wilderness and back into the national park, finally terminating at the confluence with the North Fork of the Virgin River. The scenic value of Goose Creek is outstanding with narrow vertical sandstone cliffs hundreds of feet tall, with stringers of mixed conifer forest, mountain shrubs and riparian vegetation. Don’t Miss: Recreational opportunities within Goose Creek abound with outstanding photography, canyoneering, hiking, backpacking, camping and solitude.
