Ohio River - Hannibal Pool

Overview

Ohio River - Hannibal Pool is managed by Us Army Corps of Engineers and is located near New Martinsville, West Virginia. This modern structure replaces three old wicket-type dams which served river traffic for over 70 years. Several full-size wickets and a workboat, used to operate them, are displayed at the visitor center.
