Hayden Fork Campground is located 40 miles from Evanston, Wyoming, just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway at an elevation of 8,800 feet. Hayden Fork is just outside the campground, providing great fishing opportunities. The byway cuts through the Uinta Mountains, which are known for their abundant recreational opportunities and scenic beauty. The campground is near the Hayden Fork River and offers a quiet campground experience with access to many recreation opportunities such as fishing, hiking, backpacking, and ATV trail riding. Access to High Uinta Wilderness hiking trails is nearby. Hayden Fork Campground offers 9 single camp sites each with picnic tables and fire rings. This campground offers vault restroom facilities. This campground sits alongside the Hayden Fork River. There are a number of small beaver ponds around the campground. It sits among a thin forest of pine and aspen trees, which provide only limited shade. Summer wildflowers and grasses dot the landscape.
