Overview
The Visitor Center & Gift Shop is the first stop for visitors to the Thomas Cole National Historic Site. Visitors check in and collect their tickets here. The Visitor Center is located in Thomas Cole's 1839 Old Studio building, in a space that was originally used as a storehouse for the working farm. The Visitor Center includes a gift shop with a vast selection of custom items and gifts produced by the historic site, a robust selection of books published by the Thomas Cole National Historic Site and others,
