The Red Cliffs Campground has 10 campsites within reddish-orange canyon walls. Quail Creek, a seasonal stream, emerges from a canyon and flows through the middle of the campground. The Red Cliffs Recreation Area campground and day use areas will be temporarily closed from July 12 through July 24, to protect public safety, while the access road is being repaved and re-striped. Campers and day user will need to leave the Recreation Area by 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020. The White Reef Trailhead will remain open for public use during this temporary closure.
