The Trailhead is in a small open meadow surrounded by oakbrush.  The trail begins as a two track travelling wast-northeast and immediately crosses a narrow, wooden ATV bridge over Kimball Creek. The Kimball Creek Trail is a rough trail because of the steep grade that it travels and also due to several areas where the trail is full of boulders and has significant erosion.  It is passable for ATV travel but should be used with extreme caution.
