Due to historical preservation work, the visitor center building is currently closed to the public. The park grounds are open from dawn to dusk daily. There is a temporary outdoor visitor center set up Thursday-Sunday 10AM - 3PM. Exhibits and a 5 minute film shown at the visitor center, explain the many contributions Roger Williams made to the cause of religious freedom. Walk through the landscaped park that includes the site of the fresh-water spring which provided fresh water to Providence's inhabitants.
