North Huckleberry Mountains

Overview

North Huckleberry Mountains is managed by Bureau of Land Management and is located near Valley, Washington.

The North Huckleberry Mountains are checkerboard BLM timber lands popular especially for wildlife viewing, dispersed camping, hunting, and driving for pleasure. Some visitors explore as a side trip when visiting nearby Waitts Lake or Chewelah. Public access is via low traffic primitive roads.

From Valley, WA: Travel west on Waitts Lake Road, turning into Klines Meadow Road a total of 8.75 miles to BLM public land boundary (2/3 mile past Carr’s Corner).
