Burr Trail

Overview

Burr Trail is managed by Bureau of Land Management and is located near Hanksville, Utah. The Notom road segment parallels the Waterpocket Fold and provides an excellent opportunity to view the magnitude of this colorful and desolate rock spine. East of the backway are expansive views of the Henry Mountains and Mancos Mesas foothills. The Burr Trail road crosses softly rolling mancos hills, and then follows a deeply incised canyon to Lake Powell.
