Duluth-Superior Harbor

Overview

Duluth-Superior Harbor is managed by Us Army Corps of Engineers and is located near Duluth, Minnesota. At the western end of Lake Superior, Duluth-Superior Harbor offers a close view of commercial shipping, lighthouses, a park, and a lakewalk. The Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center exhibits the Corps' role in harbor and connecting channel development. All aspects of shipping are displayed with ship artifacts, scale models, and a full size pilot house replica. School and community group programs are extensive. The Visitor Center is located at the foot of Canal Park Drive a few blocks from downtown Duluth, or from I-35, at exit 256-B. There is nearby parking.
