Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park also accepts payment in person during Operating Hours and honors valid Interagency Passes (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.). Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park requires all visitors to pay an entrance fee except children under 16 years of age.

The pass admits the passholder and up to 14 passengers in a single, private (non-commercial) vehicle.

Please be prepared to show your site pass on your mobile device (or printed on paper).

Entrance passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, will not be replaced if lost or stolen and will be void if altered or reproduced.

This is an entrance fee, not a parking fee. Parking is not guaranteed. The parking lot can fill to capacity on any given day. Visitors are encouraged to arrive between 8:30 am and 10:30 am or after 2:30 pm. Refunds will not be offered.

Areas of Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau sometimes experiences connectivity issues. Please download this pass to your mobile device or print a hard copy before arriving at the park.

Do you already own a pass? Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park honors the Interagency annual and lifetime passes that are valid at multiple national park and federal sites. If you own one of these passes you do NOT need to purchase a digital site pass.

Are you visiting multiple parks? Upon arrival at Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park you may purchase Interagency annual and lifetime passes that allow entry at multiple national parks and federal lands.
