On January 1, 2026, changes to National Park Entrance Fees and Passes for non-residents took effect.
Frequent visitors, seniors, military, and others may save money on entrance fees with an America the Beautiful Pass.
Do NOT purchase a site pass now if you have a valid America the Beautiful annual or lifetime pass OR are planning to get one.
Each pass is issued to one person (the pass holder) who must be present and show valid photo identification each time the pass is used. U.S. citizen or resident identification includes a U.S. driver's license, U.S. passport, or U.S. permanent resident card.
This pass is only valid for entrance fees at Lake Mead National Recreation Area. All visitors 16 years of age and older are required to pay an entrance fee at Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
The Individual "Pedestrian/Cyclist Pass" is for visitors entering Lake Mead National Recreation Area without a private vehicle, for example a visitor hiking into the park from the boundary or riding a bicycle into the park. If you are entering the park in a vehicle, you should purchase a daily vehicle pass.
Print out or download the pass on your mobile device in advance of your visit as cellular service may be limited.
Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
