Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument

Beneath a grassy mountain valley in central Colorado lies one of the richest and most diverse fossil deposits in the world. Petrified redwood stumps up to 14 feet (4 m) wide and thousands of detailed fossils of insects and plants reveal the story of a very different, prehistoric Colorado. The geology, fossils, and human stories of Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument are part of a common geologic heritage. 

This pass is only valid for entrance fees at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. All visitors 16 years of age and older are required to pay an entrance fee at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. Please be prepared to show your physical pass or digital pass on your mobile device. Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.

Pets are NOT allowed anywhere in the park or in the visitor center. There is a pet exercise area located adjacent to the visitor center parking lot, pets must be leashed.

Inclement weather may cause park closures or delayed openings.

America the Beautiful Interagency Pass holders, with up to 3 adult guests, are NOT required to pay an entrance fee. You must show your physical pass upon arrival. Digital images of Interagency Passes are not accepted.
