Hovenweep National Monument also accepts payment in person during Operating Hours and honors valid America the Beautiful Passes (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.). For more information, visit the park's Fees & Passes page.

Beginning January 1, 2026, changes to National Park Entrance Fees and Passes for non-residents and motorcycles take effect.

Frequent visitors, seniors, military, and others may save money on entrance fees with an America the Beautiful Pass.

Each pass is issued to one person (the pass holder) who must be present and show valid photo identification each time the pass is used. U.S. citizen or resident identification includes a U.S. driver's license, U.S. passport, or U.S. permanent resident card.

Hovenweep National Monument charges an entrance fee per vehicle. Individual Pedestrian/Cyclist passes are only required for persons entering without a vehicle.

All visitors 16 years of age and older must be covered by an entrance fee or pass.

Please be prepared to show a hard copy or the digital pass on your mobile device when you arrive at the park. Print out or download the pass on your mobile device in advance of your visit as connectivity may be limited in the park.

Entrance passes are non-transferable, non-refundable, will not be replaced if lost or stolen and will be void if altered or reproduced.
