Indiana Dunes National Park Site Pass

Indiana Dunes National Park

Indiana Dunes National Park hugs 15 miles of the southern shore of Lake Michigan and has much to offer. Whether you enjoy scouting for rare species of birds or flying kites on the sandy beach, the national park's 15,000 acres will continually enchant you. Hikers will enjoy 50 miles of trails over rugged dunes, mysterious wetlands, sunny prairies, meandering rivers and peaceful forests.

Indiana Dunes National Park requires all visitors to pay an entrance fee except children 15 years of age and younger.

You are purchasing a digital site pass that is valid only for weekly or annual entrance fees at Indiana Dunes National Park. Federal passes do not work at the Indiana Dunes State Park.

The pass admits the pass owner(s) and accompanying passengers in a private, non-commercial vehicle. Pass owner must be present for entry. Representations of the pass are prohibited.

Purchasing this pass does not expedite entry into the park and does not guarantee you a parking spot. Plan to arrive early with the possibility of long lines to enter the park.

Passholders must print a copy of this pass and display it on the vehicle's dashboard. Those traveling in open-topped vehicles or on motorcycles should carry the pass with them and be prepared to present it to NPS staff upon request.

Entrance passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen and will be void if altered or reproduced.

Do you already own a pass? Indiana Dunes National Park honors the Interagency annual and lifetime passes that are valid at multiple national park and federal sites. If you own one of these passes you do NOT need to purchase a digital site pass.

Are you visiting multiple parks? Upon arrival at Indiana Dunes National Park you may upgrade to the Interagency annual and lifetime passes that allow entry at multiple national parks and federal lands. For information about other pass options, please visit the Recreation.gov 'Buy a Pass' page or compare the passes at the USGS Pass Store < https://store.usgs.gov/pass
